Mukund Sarda Law

In an effort to train young advocates to practise in family courts, the Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training, the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, and the International Bar Association on Continuing Legal Education have organised a five-day course for young students at the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, New Law College.
The training will be imparted in family court. The course titled "Professional Advancement programme for young advocates" will be held between December 18 and 23.
According to Prof Dr Mukund Sarda, Dean and Principal of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, the course will be offered to a group of 60 advocates — 30 from the state and the rest from outside it. He said the course would help in specialising in family matters.
The resource persons for the training programme includes Justice S Vimala, judge, Madras High Court, Dr N R Madhav Menon, IBA-CLE Chair on Continuing legal education, NLSIU, Bangalore, V V Shahapurkar, Principal Judge, Family Court, Aruna Faraswani, Judge, Family Court, Flavia Agnes, women rights lawyer, advocate Rajendra Anbhule who specialises in family law practice, and Mukund Sarda.
